While they are mandated for allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, safety and certain other types of complaints, you may also choose to launch an investigation for a variety of other reasons. Whether you have an internal HR department or not, there are myriad reasons to hire a third-party investigator. A third-party doesn’t know any of the people they’ll be investigating, so won’t have pre-conceived notions. An outside investigator also won’t face any conflicts of interest. Sasquatch HR’s President, Bryan Baker, holds the SHRM Workplace Investigation Specialty Credential. This means he has demonstrated the ability to conduct effective workplace investigations to mitigate an organization’s workplace risk. He utilizes effective interview and data gathering activities, analyzes results, draws conclusions, and provides recommendations for solutions.</image:title>
